System functionPreparing to dry

Before starting the drying cycle, the operator must open both the top lid and bottom valve of the IBC or tank. Once the container is in position, the drying station automatically lowers its blowing terminal using a pneumatic piston. This terminal inserts into the top opening and creates a seal, preparing the system to initiate the hot air drying process. Ensuring the container is correctly positioned and accessible is key to an effective operation.

System functionDrying cycle

Once the terminal is secured, hot air is blown into the container through a heating element that raises the air temperature up to 120°C. This heated air creates a vortex inside the tank, removing moisture from the inner walls. The generated overpressure pushes the extracted liquid downward, where it exits through the open bottom valve. This efficient airflow reduces drying time and energy consumption, making the process both powerful and cost-effective.

System functionRegular maintenance

Routine maintenance ensures optimal performance of the Basca IBC Drying Station. Operators should regularly inspect and clean air hoses, connectors, and filters to prevent blockages. Moving parts such as the piston, motor, and terminal mechanism must be lubricated and checked for wear. Keeping all components in good condition ensures consistent drying performance, prolongs equipment lifespan, and minimizes downtime.
