When the BascaTunnel system is powered on, water is automatically loaded and heated to the preset temperature values defined in the HMI interface. Once the required conditions are reached, pressing the START button activates the conveyor belt, allowing the operator to begin loading containers into the washing tunnel. As soon as the system is ready, continuous container washing becomes fully operational, ensuring high-throughput cleaning performance for industrial workflows.

After the START button is pressed, BascaTunnel performs a quick check of all sensor signals to ensure safe operation. Once confirmed, the system begins the washing cycle, drawing heated water from the under-tunnel tank and delivering it to the high-efficiency washing nozzles. The water is filtered and continuously recirculated in a closed-loop system throughout the entire cycle, maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste. The cleaning recipe can be easily adjusted via the HMI to meet different container types or contamination levels, and detergent additives can be integrated into the water to boost cleaning performance when required.

As the containers move automatically through the tunnel, they reach the rinsing station, where a high-temperature rinse is performed using mains water heated by integrated boilers. This phase ensures a superior cleaning finish compared to standard washing. For applications that require it, the rinsing process can be followed by a dedicated sanitization phase, enhancing hygiene and safety compliance in sensitive industries.

Once the cleaning and rinsing phases are complete, the containers reach the tunnel exit, where the operator unloads them manually. The washing cycle continues automatically in a loop, allowing uninterrupted cleaning of new containers until the operator stops the machine. This ensures high productivity and efficient handling in high-throughput industrial environments.
