System functionLoading the solvent

Dirty solvent loading, 100 or 200 liters according to the model, is done with a pneumatic diaphragm pump, ensuring smooth integration into any production workflow.

System functionHeating phase

Electric heating elements heat up the thermal oil in the double jacket of the boiling tank, which ensure safe and gradual temperature increase. The solvent is then brought to its boiling point.

System functionEvaporation and separation

Once the boiling point has been reached, the solvent begins to evaporate, separating from heavy residues such as ink, paint or chemical sludge. These contaminants stay in the boiler, while the clean solvent vapor continues through the process.

System functionCondensation and recovery

The vapor is routed into a high-efficiency condenser (air- or water-cooled), where it’s cooled and returned to liquid form. The distilled solvent is collected into a tank and is ready for immediate reuse.

System functionResidue discharge

At the end of the cycle the sludge is discharged into an IBC or Drum, which simplifies cleanup, improves operator safety, and reduces downtime.

BascaRec S100/S200 units are equipped with multiple safety features to ensure reliable and safe operations like: overpressure valves, overtemperature protection, level sensors, ATEX-certified configuration, and automatic process monitoring via PLC for added security in continuous use settings.
