Modena & London –28 March 2022 – BASCA, innovative startup aiming to make mixers, tanks and containers cleaning process enviro-friendly and more sustainable, and Terrafend, a global cleantech company, today announced a strategic partnership that will empower international ink, paint, and composite manufacturers to reduce risk, waste and carbon footprints.
Industrial coatings are, by nature of their protective purpose, resilient and notoriously difficult to clean from manufacturing vessels and infrastructure. Consequently, the industry has relied on traditional solvents which are extremely high in VOCs – a leading cause of ground level smog and the pollution of our planet – and produce significant volumes of harmful emulsified waste.
The collaboration will align Terrafend and BASCA’s shared focus on making a material contribution to the climate change solution while delivering innovative and superior cleaning solutions to manufacturers. The companies will launch their new Ambimization® ready pot wash machine at the European Coatings Show 28 – 30 March in Nuremberg.

The innovative pot wash machine will enable coating manufacturers to customize their processes to clean portable tanks, IBC’s and drums. The machine leverages a high-pressure pump and customized rotary spray nozzle to clean containers, while a collection pump removes fluid from the bottom and sends it back to the stocking tank for reuse.
